(Those of you viewing on the web are getting a sneak preview as we were late (again) sending out cards)
...and Happy Holidays from Eric, Lynn and Zachary Miller. 1997 was another jam-packed year, filled with fun, adventure, opportunity and sorrow as well. In January we gave birth to the AIM, the Association for Integrative Medicine, with Dr. Peter Redmond and Roxayne Veasey, we also mourned for the death of Lynn's brother Craig. As the year progressed, Eric was granted licensure in the state of Mass. and wrote three articles which are currently pending publicaton. At the end of March, we all flew to Paris, France to perform at the Eurogate. After work, we drove down to the French Alps and stayed in some charming country hotels in the Trieve region. Zak was an excellent traveler as usual, though became quite frightened by the camel from the street circus in Vif. Lynn continues to teach at the Upattinas school, and wrote a song together with Linda Goss, which was picked up by the New Jersey Chamber Orchestra! Performances will be coming up early next year. Eric has been doing more corporate consulting with Bob from the Bala Creative Group. On a Thursday in mid-July, Eric was called to fly to Milan, Italy the next day to assist Dr. Epstein with his 12-Stages of Healing seminar that weekend. Also during the summer, Eric was hired as Executive Director for David Darling's organization: Music for People, duties starting in November. We hosted the Expressive Therapy Concepts national conference at the end of September for a small but enthusiastic audience, the presentations were excellent! Zachary started playschool in October and loves it! He will be sure to tell you about trains, playschool & his teacher, Miss Chris. Zak also continues to be enthralled with his French cassette tapes, "Oui Oui" in particular, and when in the mood, can recite lengthy sections verbatim. Lynn submitted her assignments related to application for Certified Music Therapist, and awaits response from the committee. In late November, Eric was hired part time as an EEG technician at a young company in Plymouth Meeting called Neurodynamix, which treats ADD/ADHD kids with brainwave biofeedback and in December, joined Donny (Epstein) in Maui for more drumming & 12-Stages. ALOHA! We wish everyone a happy, healthy, prosperous and magical 1998!
