GREETINGS
to All! from Eric, Lynn & Zak

(Those of you viewing on the web are getting a sneak preview as we were late (again) sending out cards)- just get used to it!

Happy Holidays once again from Eric, Lynn and Zak Miller. 2001 heralds another mega-year for the Millers! Zak is having a great time in his first grade ³Spanish Emersion² progam at Schuylkill Elementary. He has really latched on to reading, and reads up a storm everywhere... particularly on e-Bay while shopping for Pokemon and gameboy cartridges. Zak made the newspapers in March, tying for first in a chess tournament at the YMCA, At age 6, he was the youngest player to enter. The older players were aged 12-13. In the Fall, he won the bumpers championships in bowling for both November and December.

Lynn is at the helm of a blossoming private practice e in Music Therapy! She is bringing music improvisation and song to senior centers and boarding homes around Philadelphia, as well as to private clients in our home studio. She also won a grant to direct a community mosaic mural project in Phoenixville. She will be organizing volunteers to assit with creating a festive tile mural in the downtown area around the theme of the Phoenix. Lynn also has been teaching regularly at the Learning Studio, and at Immaculata College

Lynn also continues to teach one day a week at the Upattinas school and occasionally performs with Linda Goss. She has become more involved with teaching at Music for People and co-instructed a successful Players/Improvisors camp with Ron Kravitz at the June workshop.

Eric and Lynn were thrilled to be involved with the inauguration of the new European arm of the Music For People program with David Darling Mary Knysh, Mario and Marlise Binetti, Sigrid and the Kiental staff in Switzerland. Despite a setback due to the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks on the U.S., we look forward to developing this exciting program which features not only a spectacular location, but premium quality musicians as well!

Eric completed his coursework for the Bryn Mawr College doctoral program in Social Work & Social Research and is starting to prepare for the exhaustive preliminary examinations. He continues with his part time post at the college assisting faculty with instructional technology needs and maintaining the school website. He also instructed a class in Biofeedback and Music Therapy Research in the Spring, a graduate Methods of Research course at Immaculata this Fall. Eric also picked up a part time spot as assistant coach for the Bryn Mawr badminton team. Eric continues to collaborate with Dr. Marvin Berman on a research project investigating the efficacy of EEG neurofeedback with ADHD children. He also maintains his websites for the Biofeedback Network and the Association for Integrative Medicine. The AIM site now offers an exciting new On-line Barter Exchange system, featuring AIM HealthDollars, and the Biofeedback Network started the BioBAY Biofeedback Marketplace!

We deeply felt the loss of Grandma Edie who passed away at age 70 this year. She will be missed and remembered.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, prosperous and magical 2002!

Happy Holidays Everybody!
